BRANDING & WEB DESIGN FOR A PSYCHIATRY PRACTICE
In collaboration with Engel Solutions, a refreshed brand identity and website were developed for Dr. Tamara L. Tencer, a psychiatrist based outside Chicago.
The identity needed to strike a careful balance: emotionally approachable for children and families seeking support, while maintaining the credibility and professionalism expected by executives, medical professionals, and referring clinicians.
THE LOGO DESIGN DRAWS FROM SYMBOLISM OF LENSES & THE SUN
Lenses represent focus, clarity, and perspective, mirroring the role of psychiatry in helping patients better understand themselves and their experiences. The sun represents warmth, energy, and renewal, reflecting the sense of hope and growth Dr. Tencer’s team strive to foster in their patients.
The logo captures both the precision of a professional practice and the approachable optimism that patients look for in their care.
WEBSITE DESIGN
A revamped website was built to highlight Dr. Tencer’s team of counselors and establish a stronger online presence. The website was built in SquareSpace, and utilizes embedded Simple Practice forms to help clients schedule appointments through Dr. Tencer’s established practice management tool.
